Me and Coffee

Me and coffee have a very strong relationship. I will tell you here in my first post all about how I decided to start this coffee blog besides my deep love to coffee.

Well, let's start from where I came from. I am an Indonesian girl, as you know that Indonesia is one of the biggest coffee producer. Moreover, I am from a small town on the edge of Sumatra called Banda Aceh where coffee shop are one of the first places that people built after Tsunami. What I meant by that is, as you knew Banda Aceh was the most effected place that hit by Tsunami on 2004. Yet believe it or not, after tsunami, one of the kind of places that rebuilt after tsunami are coffee shops. I might tell you later about coffee shop in Aceh in detail in other post. So, to make it short, in Banda Aceh, coffee is part of culture. Everyone go to the coffee shop, well.. the conclusion in this paragraph I was growing up with coffee culture :)

Sanger and Roti sele, both are special menu from coffee shop in aceh

That's how Aceh coffee served

Now I am in Sydney and I love to go to different coffee shop here. It seems like I love coffee more and more, I always so excited in finding a new coffee shop. So, one day a friend of mine suggest me to start a coffee blog, and why not?? :) so.. here I am.. with my coffee blog.

My interest is not only about the coffee itself, but also the coffee shop. I mean, having a cup of coffee for me is not only about the taste of the coffee, but more about the atmosphere of the place where I have my coffee. However, no doubt that the taste of the coffee itself is important, but the ambience and feeling that you have while sipping your coffee is the most important thing.

Ok, that's it for my introduction. Please enjoy my blog while sipping your coffee :)
